Try a new dating app & film your honest take.

Sugurr LLC is looking for a small group of people to try Sugurr, an upscale dating app, and film a short, honest video about the experience. Selected videos will run as paid ads on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

This is not an acting gig and there is no script. We want your actual opinion. If you don't like the app, say so in your video — we'd rather know.

We are accepting a limited number of participants. Unsolicited videos will not be reviewed and will not be paid for. Only submissions from accepted participants with a valid participation code are eligible for payment.

How it works

  1. 1Apply using the form on this site.
  2. 2If accepted, we email you a participation code. A complimentary year of premium is applied automatically when you sign up on sugurr.com with the same email.
  3. 3Use Sugurr at sugurr.com for at least 7 days.
  4. 4Film a 30–60 second vertical video on your phone about your actual experience and upload it here by your deadline.

What accepted participants get paid

  • $50 for a submission that meets the brief — whether or not we use it.
  • $250 if we license your video for advertising. Selected participants may be asked to film a few short alternate openings for an additional $100.

Paid via Zelle, Venmo or PayPal after a signed release.

The brief

  • Vertical (9:16), recent phone, face a window, quiet room, send it raw
  • 30–60 seconds, talking to camera like you're telling a friend — we give you prompts, not lines
  • Your genuine opinion — what surprised you, what was easy, what wasn't. Specific beats polished.
  • Do not claim anything that didn't actually happen to you
  • Licensed videos will carry a "paid endorsement" disclosure

Requirements

  • 18+, valid government ID
  • Comfortable appearing in paid advertising. Non-exclusive perpetual usage rights, worldwide. Signed release required.
  • Fully clothed, nothing suggestive or adult in nature
